Fantastic

We live in a time full of promises. And so it is that, as we wait for these promises to become reality, 100 Dessus Dessous is exploring the poetic value of folly by means of the fantastic genre, just like in literature or cinema.

This year’s Festival features several performances drawing on the codes of this genre, in particular pop culture, to explore questions of History, telemarketing, anti-heroes, liberalism, and power. Lots of subject matter to go beyond the traditional forms of the narrative and try out new narration techniques, while giving contemporary creation a breath of fresh air.
